Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Alpha Shorts ("the app") is a private video production tool used by a single operator, an individual based in France, to create videos and publish them on the operator's own social media channels. Contact: [email protected].
2. Whose data the app handles
The app is not offered to the public. The only accounts ever connected to it are the operator's own channels on YouTube (Google), TikTok, Instagram and Facebook (Meta). The app does not collect data about viewers, followers or any other person, and it never accesses anyone else's account.
3. Data received from the platforms
When the operator connects a channel, the platform gives the app, with the operator's consent:
- an access token and a refresh token allowing it to act on that channel;
- the channel's identifier, name and avatar;
- for the videos the app published: their identifier, processing status and public statistics (views, watch time, likes, comments count).
The app only uses these data to publish the videos the operator approved on the operator's own channels, to check that they were published correctly, and to measure their performance for the operator. It does not read private messages, comments' authors or viewers' personal data.
4. Google user data (YouTube API Services)
The app uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel, the operator agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.
5. Storage and security
Data are stored on the operator's own server in the European Union. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest; secrets are never written in source code. Data are never sold, rented or shared with third parties, and are not used for advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept while a channel is connected and deleted as soon as it is disconnected from the app or the access is revoked on the platform. Publishing records and statistics of the operator's own videos are kept as long as the videos are online, and at most 24 months after their removal. To ask for deletion of any data, write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data, and to object to their processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).

Any change to this policy is published on this page with its date.

Alpha Shorts est un outil privé de production vidéo, utilisé par un seul opérateur, un particulier établi en France, pour créer des vidéos et les publier sur ses propres chaînes. Contact : [email protected].
Seules les chaînes de l'opérateur (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) sont connectées à l'application. Elle reçoit, avec son accord, les jetons d'accès et de rafraîchissement, l'identité de la chaîne et, pour les vidéos qu'elle a publiées, leur statut et leurs statistiques publiques. Ces données servent uniquement à publier les vidéos validées par l'opérateur, à vérifier leur publication et à mesurer leurs performances. Aucune donnée de spectateur n'est collectée.
L'utilisation des données reçues des API Google respecte la Google API Services User Data Policy, y compris les exigences « Limited Use ». L'accès peut être retiré à tout moment depuis les paramètres de sécurité Google.
Les données sont hébergées sur le serveur de l'opérateur dans l'Union européenne, les jetons sont chiffrés, rien n'est vendu ni partagé. Les jetons sont supprimés dès la déconnexion d'une chaîne ; les statistiques sont conservées au plus 24 mois après le retrait des vidéos. Vous disposez des droits d'accès, de rectification, d'effacement, de portabilité et d'opposition (RGPD) et pouvez saisir la CNIL.
